Niconico Net Chokaigi 2020 is Japan’s largest online festival which brings together a wide variety of entertainment such as Japanese tradition, anime, game, music, dance, cosplay and more! In response to the ongoing threat of the novel coronavirus outbreak and cancellation of events, we will be holding its summer edition to unite like-minded fans online once again.
During the 8-day event period (August 9th -16th), Niconico will be live streaming a series of shows where users can enjoy an interactive communication with guests/performers on stage through Niconico’s commenting system.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
CHO KABUKI
Cho Kabuki is a special stage performance which combines Kabuki, a traditional Japanese theatre with a 400-year history, and cutting-edge ICT technology. The show began in 2016 and features internationally acclaimed Kabuki actor Shidō Nakamura and Vocaloid virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
The latest chapter of the ongoing Cho Kabuki series will be performed on August 16th and will be viewable worldwide (excluding China) for free via Niconico Live Streaming.

VOCALOID FESTIVAL
Vocaloid Festival is a music concert performed by various Vocaloid characters and features trending Vocaloid music. The show will be streamed live in 3 different camera angles which viewers can choose - Main View, Audience Seat View and Panoramic View.

The music duo EGOIST will be performing live at Niconico Net Chokaigi 2020 Summer Edition! The concert will be viewable worldwide (excluding China) via Niconico Live Streaming.

MIKU LAND GATE β
MIKU LAND GATE β is a futuristic Hatsune Miku themed amusement park in virtual reality. As an avatar, visitors can attend its opening/ending ceremony, interact with others and enjoy shopping exclusive Hatsune Miku official merchandise!
This virtual world will be open to fans worldwide with free admissions and is accessible from either Virtual Cast (available on Steam ) or smartphone app Holomodels (available on iOS/Android). The opening ceremony will also be streamed live on Niconico and Youtube.
