Japan Self-Defense Forces

Niconico sends live streaming of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces (JSDF), including aerial shows and scenes of training. These broadcasts are extremely popular among military fans. Based on this popularity, this will be the third consecutive year for the JSDF to operate a booth at Chokaigi, starting from Chokaigi 2. This year will feature the first private display of the maneuver combat vehicle (MCV) which was deployed this April, as well as display of a jet engine from the active duty F-15J/DJ jet fighter. Visitors can also enjoy JSDF cosplay and experience training which is only performed by JSDF personnel. BACK
